Outpost Café

Stop by Tuesday thru Saturday from 10AM – 4PM (summer) or 8AM – 1PM (spring/fall/winter).

The Outpost Café is an important part of ECEC’s Youth Employment Program. High school students run the cafe, building real-world job skills while providing friendly, welcoming service to visitors and community members.

The menu features fresh-from-the-garden sandwiches and snacks, coffee creations, smoothies and baked goods. Prices are kept affordable so families can enjoy lunch together or stop in for a simple afternoon treat.

During the COVID-19 restrictions, ECEC is actively supporting our community while encouraging people to stay at home and stay safe.

During the COVID-19 restrictions, ECEC is actively supporting our community while encouraging people to stay at home and stay safe. Our Native Plant Nursery is fully operational and we've added an Online Store so you can order the veggie starts, perennials and native shrubs you need for your home garden. The Outpost Mobile Food Pantry continues to come twice a month. We're developing a service to bring fresh vegetable boxes to Elkton to reduce the number of trips people need to take to other communities, and the library is available by appointment.
