The Elkton Community Education Center is an incredibly unique “third space” offering something for everyone in the quaint town of Elkton.
Our 43-acres site is built along the North Umpqua River and provides enrichment activities in an environment that nurtures individual and community wellbeing.
Learn the life-cycle of a butterfly. Take a stroll through our native plant park. Buy some blueberries in the summer. Pick some apples in the fall. Sign up for an art class. Browse the plant nursery. Borrow a book. Enjoy guided tours, local crafts and our seasonal café.

It’s winter season which means quieter days, yet there’s activity happening every week.
Our primary service area is the rural town of Elkton and the surrounding communities in North Douglas County.
